This 1947 Willy’s CJ2a is fully restored to almost new condition with original paint color. Frame was sand blasted and painted. The entire drivetrain is fully rebuilt with a new 12volt wiring harness installed. Below is a list of most of the upgrades:
Frame off, sand blasted, primed and painted.
Engine removed and fully rebuilt. About 700 miles on new engine.
Transmission and transfer case removed and fully rebuilt.
Brakes and brake lines replaced.
New replacement body parts.
New period wiring harness installed for 12 volt system.
Seat frames replaced and recovered.
New US made tires and wheels. Sticker shown on picture.
New exhaust system.
All gauges replaced.
New fuel tank and hoses.
New radiator.
Hubs rebuilt.
All new universal joints.
Front driveshaft new.
New windshield.
Receipts available for all parts.
I would like to keep her for grandkids but where we live in Texas it is relatively unsafe going many places as the speed limit is 50 or 60 and she cruises comfortably at 35. I hope she goes to a very good home.
