This is a 1947 Willys CJ-2A Jeep project with solid bones ready for the next owner to (with a little TLC) use as is - or perform a full restoration.

History:
I bought the jeep about 4 years ago from a guy in Florida who kept it in a garage connected to his house. Before I bought it from him I had the opportunity to drive the jeep around his neighborhood, a good running jeep.

I took it home and let it sit in a Harbor Freight 10x17 portable car canopy garage. Great little garage but after 2 years the sun's UV rays destroyed the canopy. I replaced it with a new Harbor Freight canopy and it lasted another 2 years. That brings us to now.

Current State:
I think it's time to sell the jeep. Unfortunately after letting it sit for 4 years, even though I kept it out of the weather, not starting it from time to time has taken its toll. It will not start now. The engine does turn over but will not start. There is oil in the crankcase and antifreeze in the radiator but no spark coming out of the coil.

There is some surface rust where the paint has chipped off. Other than that the tub is in good shape. It shouldn't take much work to get it running and looking good. The previous owner reupholstered the seats and replaced the front brake system and rear wheel spacers. The passenger side windshield wiper motor needs to have the wiring reattached. I just put in a new battery. I just don't have any place to keep it here.

Also comes with towbar and metal frame for the roof canvas but no roof canvas.
