Price: 12000.00 USD
Availability: InStock

Do you want a sxs for that deer lease but also want a vintage vehicle to cruise in? Look no further than this 1948 CJ2A! Is it titled? Yes! Is it road legal? Yes! Does it go faster than 45 mph? No! But will it go about anywhere you could hope? Yes!

This was the first generation of the Jeep following WWII, and is powered by the same 4 cyl Go-Devil engine that helped win both the European and Pacific theater. While there is some rust on the tub, this is the easiest vehicle to work on since what you see is what you get. Thus said, the drive train and suspension have been upgraded to increase off road performance while maintaining the classic look.

It has a fully boxed and powder coated frame, an upgraded t90c transmission, wrangler yj leaf springs, cj5 axles, larger 11 in drum brakes, locking hubs in the front and a lunchbox locker in the rear. Currently I have it on wide 33s, but I also have a set of narrow 31s.
