Quick History:
The jeep came to me in the early 1970s when I was in college.
At that time it was pretty easy to find flat fenders in good shape fairly cheap.
After a couple of years I was drafted and parked it in my Dads barn in Illinois.
I parked it - didn’t protect it - didn't drain it - just parked it.
Over the years it froze in the winters and cracked the block.
Rats made nests in the seats and bell housing and my Dad piled lumber on top of it,
Many years later , after retirng from my career, I brought it south to begin rebuilding it.
Body off, sandblasted and painted. A year and a half search for a replacement engine.
Several people and shops any many parts later it is back on the road.

Build Info:
This jeep has had significant replacement of the original parts.
Rebuilt engine, transmission, carburetor. New gas tank and fuel lines.
New seats, wiring, most guages, shocks, king pin bearings, most seals, distributor,
coil, voltage regulator.
In the past, brake lines replaced, drums turned, new windshield glass.
Turn signals added, new aluminum radiator.
Interior & bed have rhino lining

The bumper markings are not usually on a civilian jeep.
These reflect the unit I was a part of - but not the jeep. I just like the way it looks.

The top is ill fitting. The bows are from an M151 Vietnam jeep.
The top bow is a little too long and needs to be modified a bit.
This raises up the fabric and it does not match correctly to the body.

Jeep has NO RUST
