Ultimate Wagon upgrade! Beautiful wagon body on fully loaded 2006 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon chassis. Literally everything but body and interior is from Rubicon. The donor Wrangler was a trail roll-over body total and was running when I received. Body very good; two small dents and very minor rust behind one rear well. Body bottom was fully stripped and undercoated off-frame before being mounted to Wrangler chassis. Wrangler power train complete and un-modified, electric-lockers, Wrangler steering column and controls mounted with new driver's floor panel, firewall from Wrangler integrated to Willys body so engine compartment kept in order, electric fan with Wrangler radiator and A/C condensor, new clutch master cylinder.
Still to do: internal wiring for lights etc., heater- A/C unit installed (currently have a mock-up of a Classic Air unit installed with brackets ready for actual unit), cowl vent door installed, dent fill, finish and paint (unless you wanted to just clear coat and keep the "patina" look!), install glass (have all; passenger side slider piece is cracked), bumpers mounted, trim and handles installed, interior body panels and headliner, mount seats. I have all original seats but they will need new cushion and upholstery; my plan was to get more comfy driver's and front passenger seats and configure rest of interior for a trail camping rig. A/T's (including spare) all in great shape (there's $1500 worth of rubber alone!)
Have $10k invested in just purchasing Wrangler, lost track of what I've spent on rest never mind the hundreds of hours of time! It's so close I hate to give up but I'm moving out of country and cost to take would break me.
